Hope you are having a wonderful week and that your Labor Day Holiday was fantastic!

"Faith in the Savior requires more than mere belief. The Apostle James taught that even the devils believe and tremble (see James 2:19). But true faith requires work. The difference between the devils and the faithful members of this Church is not belief but work. Faith grows by keeping the commandments. We must work at keeping the commandments." -Wilford W. Andersen, "The Rock of Our Redeemer," Ensign, May 2010, 17

Congrats Elder Marchant!!!!

At the conclusion of our first week at BYU, hope everyone's classes are going well and you are truly enjoying being a True Blue Cougar!

Our first ward "Break the Fast" on September 5th was a huge success!
Thank you to everyone for contributing to make it such a wonderful event.
Also, a very special thanks to the "Break the Fast Committee" for putting together the dinner! We look forward to next time's!

We were also very blessed as to have our own Elder Gil Marchant open his mission call the same night at Ward Prayer! He has been called to serve in the Stockholm, Sweden Mission and leaves on the 29th of December. Although we will miss him being in our ward dearly, we know that he has been called by the Lord and will be a very wonderful and successful missionary! We wish him the best of luck as he leaves on his mission at the end of the semester!

Upcoming Events:
September 18th- Ward Activity in 3228 WSC
Don't forget about your weekly Family Home Evening night!!

“All you have to do is trust your Heavenly Father. Trust Him enough to follow His plan.” -Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “Your Happily Ever After,” Ensign, May 2010, 127
